As the Global IT Category Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing their global technology categories which will include Software, SaaS, Cloud, Network, and End User Technology, as well as overseeing their Tech professional services. Responsibilities: * Collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand their requirements, establish strong relationships, and effectively manage the technology category spend. * Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends, emerging technologies, and potential suppliers, ensuring that the organization remains at the forefront of technology advancements. * Drive the supplier selection and evaluation process, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships to ensure the best value, quality, and service levels are achieved. * Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of technology suppliers, identifying opportunities for improvement, cost savings, and risk mitigation. * Develop and implement robust procurement policies, procedures, and governance frameworks for technology categories, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Legal, Finance, and Operations, to ensure alignment and integration of technology category management activities. * Stay updated on the latest developments and emerging trends in technology category management, leveraging industry best practices to drive innovation and optimize processes. Experience: * Proven experience as a Category Manager or similar role, specifically in Technology/Software Category Management. * In-depth knowledge and expertise in managing technology categories, including Software, Data centre/Hosting, Cloud, Network, and End User Technology, and Tech professional services. * Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of driving cost savings and achieving favourable contract terms and conditions. * Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with the capacity to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations. * Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and deliver results within established timelines. * Proficiency in procurement tools, systems, and technologies. * Professional certifications in procurement, such as CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) or CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management), are highly desirable. * Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment and adapt to changing priorities. We are partnering with a luxury beauty brand who are looking to bring in a Procurement Professional who will have had exposure to both direct and indirect procurement processes and have delivered savings within business. The incumbent will also have global remit for developing Procurement Excellence, including implementing strategy, policies and processes and responsibility for the updates to and management of the 'Source to Contract' (S2C) system. Manager within the second line risk function for all legal entities across the group. Responsible for the identification, remediation and ownership of operational risk, credit risk, market risks, reputational risks, information security, strategic and fraud risk.The role will also support the Head of Third Party Risk Management in the implementation of the TPRM framework, TPRM/ Risk Management solution and the Due Diligence of Third Parties.Role and responsibilities: * Support the Head of TPRM in developing and maintaining the TPRM policy and strategy. * The development of processes across the Sourcing/ TPRM lifecycle ranging from Third Party Assessment (IRQs through DDQs), On-going Monitoring and Exit Management. * Ensuring that inherent risks and control gaps are accurately identified and remediated. * Manage the Outsourcing register - including 4th parties - and that it is accurately maintained. * Co-ordinate the distribution of due diligence questionnaires to all suppliers, analysing responses and remediating issues where appropriate. * Supporting the configuration of a TPRM solution and its implementation to help achieve a best in-class TPRM model * Attend Service Reviews for high-risk third parties and ensure that TPRM is being effectively governed.Experience and requirements: * Experience and understanding of third-party risk management, process mapping, bottle neck identification and associated control remediation. * Proven experience of implementing third party management frameworks in financial services. * Knowledge and insight of regulatory requirements and expectation on third party risk management. * Experience of building third party risk management processes / platforms from the ground up. * Proven experience of successfully managing and delivering risk and control assessments. * Experience in identifying and assessing IT risks and controls. * Third party risk management experience ideally within the finance sector. * Operational Control or Operational Risk Management experience / knowledge. * Knowledge of the EBA guidelines on outsourcing. * Professional risk management/ Contract Management or a Procurement qualification would be beneficial.
