We’ve been engaged by a large public sector client who is looking to build their current team and boost their current transformation agenda which is ambitious plan to reach every part of the business.
The role will sit within the larger procurement team and will manage the delivery of sourcing processes with the strict frameworks. Manage the specified functional area across the application of policy and service delivery.
* Work with the larger team to maintain and develop relations to support the delivery of annual plans
* Manage a range of complex issues to meet the needs of stakeholders
* Lead the development and implementation of long term strategies
* Collaborate with senior members of the team to create financial viability within complex environments
The right person for the role will have experience across both category and contract management within the public sector and managed complex frameworks.
* CIPS qualified or degree level educated
* Experience delivering large and strategic arrangements with evidence of generating significant cost and service benefits
* Thorough knowledge of public sector procurement law with an ability to explain the law
* Experience influencing senior stakeholders across the business sectors
