Our client is looking for a Temporary Procurement Advisor to be responsible for tendering and contract management for all generalist categories including furniture, equipment, and supplies procurement; and car fleet, tendering and contract management reporting into the Procurement Manager.
As a Temporary Procurement Advisor, your responsibilities include:
* Report into and support the Procurement Manager to improve the function
* Use a strategic approach to all current and upcoming projects
* Sell the benefits of using procurement internally to the key members of the business
* Proactively look at current spending and offer alternative methods/suppliers for improvement and cost savings
* Cross-functional strategy implementation
* OJEU & public sector experience is ideal
* Strategic procurement experience across relevant categories
* Proven achievements in cost savings or improved service delivery to the business
* Ideally some exposure to all categories
This position offers both working from home and in the office.
