This is an amazing opportunity to join a reputable, global brand with a career path into a Head of Procurement position to manage a regional team of procurement experts. Initially this role will be reporting into the Head of Procurement (UK based) to managed Professional Services, HR and Capex spend, as well as some other generalist indirect categories.

As the business evolve and grows, it has created a fast paced, heavy workload where you can expect projects to chop and change. Due to some procurement policies and process lacking, you will need to be able to think on your feet and be trusted to get projects don autonomously.

Roles and responsibilities:

* Support and report into the Head of Procurement
* Conduct end to end procurement focusing on designated categories
* A large focus of the role will be aimed at building lasting relationships with suppliers
* Negotiate new and existing contracts for best value for the business
* Source new suppliers for best value, with up-most efficiency
* Work within a close team, but take on projects autonomously, full responsibility of supplier selection
* Manage stakeholders at all levels – business leads to executive level
* Challenge stakeholders across the business with your own technical and previous experience

Experience required:

* Must have extensive indirect, services, HR or Professional Services and ideally some Capex/Construction
* Proven wins and achievements, in relative sized projects
* End-to-end procurement experience, strong SRM/VM experience essential
* Ability to work with a lack of process and take on very fast paced, overwhelming work loads
* Able to build effective and lasting relationships internally and externally
* Willing to fully commit to the role and company throughout this exciting time of business change
* Degree educated or MCIPS would be advantage, not essential
