Our client who are a well-established professional services firm are in the market to recruit a Category Specialist within the HR & Professional Services space. The role which will be part home and office-based will require the incumbent to have come from or have previous experience within HR/ Professional Services or Generalist Categories.
Roles and responsibilities:
* Building strong rapport with stakeholders and suppliers during the procurement and service delivery stage
* Manage all procurement activity which includes 3rd party spending within the specific category
* Taking full ownership of all projects as required
* Conduct supplier negotiations for contract and supplier agreements
* Maintain supplier performance reviews
* Previous experience within indirect procurement with the ability to cover multiple subcategories.
* Experience in managing end to end procurement and supplier management.
* Excellent negotiations and contract tendering.
* Excellent IT and numeracy skills.
* CIPS qualification is desirable.
